(you roll 1-100 to determine their health and roll each age stage to see whether they get worst or better in health. I use rolls from the Random Health Score from Warwickshire Challenge when deciding when sims dies from diseases and have been using it to add new unpredictable story plot. I had too many women and children die from diseases, while the men were very healthy. Not sure how it would go with straight sims though, these are straight widowed CAS sims who suffered from a Husband-died-from-mysterious-disease-plauge. He only wanted to woohoo her if HE choosed to. In a test hood, I did try getting a Gay arranged marriage to a straight girl and cheated their LTR/STR, but that was hilarious to watch. I have NEVER played sims with like 20/20 relationships and got them married. ![]() ![]() Because personality can take a huge part on how sims interact, Im a bit lost with -35 Zodiac mothers. I haven't calculated or checked their exact chemistry, but ironically, out of the 5 single mothers available, the one with -35 in personality chemistry would normally be the one I would personally choose if I did cheat their relationships. But with this hood is part of a challenge Im playing (as a playstyle) so other than the set up I don't want to cheat TOO much in those aspects, because it kind of defeat the purpose of adding these "rules". ![]() Well, I've always been a bit of perfectionist/ideal spouse simmer who always cheat everything to get what I want. I think I might get them married, just as a bit of an experiment. I have two sims that have -100/-100 relationship with each other, even though they have a high chemistry. I decided that Riverblossom would have some arranged marriages from time to time, as they're farmers so it helps with land growth. They still only have 1 bolt for each other, but with ACR they can't keep their hands off each other. It actually didn't take too long for them to fall in love. Orion and Juliette remain married to this day - with 3 children together and one on the way. He wasn't heir to the Tricou family, but he was the easiest Consort could befriend on such short notice. He had to find her someone to marry before the baby was born - the only taker was Orion Tricou. Juliette is a good example of this, she found herself pregnant with Romeo's child, and Consort was not happy at all. Usually the two sims marrying would have 0/0 relationship with each other. Usually Consort (before he passed) would befriend wealthy families and they would 'arrange' for their children/grandchildren to marry. The Capp family have arranged marriages in my megahood. Marry a much younger lady, create conflict by having taken ladies cheat (with high chemistry), or arrange the marriage with one of the widows? Have you ever had situations like this where sims with negative chemistry or do not get along get married? How did it go?Īlso, as an extra question, What would you choose for this guy? ANYWAY, this is just an example how the situation is in a few of my sims families. I probably could have him wait until the next generation catch up because Im fine with 10-15 age difference between them, or have a marriage woman cheat, (but that has consequences). Now, I kind of hesitate because these sims might end up hating each other when you marry them off with hacks whey have low LTR/STR relationship (usually cheat the relationship).Īt the same time, most marriages in this hood are arranged and the guy really would need a new spouse, because his late wife only bore two twin girls and I do not allow heiress in this hood (have nothing to do with real life views!) and do not play with townies, so the gene pool is slim. Fortunetly they are all family oriented sims and I use simply TO's (Beard, skills, makeup, unemployed/hardworker) because well, they are suppose to be old-fashioned and as some on here would call it, "shallow-minded" or superficial. But when checking their stats, ALL of them would have bad chemistry in personality, and even without having them interacting, Im pretty sure they won't get alone (I.e Sagittarius with a Scorpio). ![]() Currently, I've several very young single parents with toddlers or young children from the middle class (bourgeoise craftmen). My hood is a medieval strictly patriarch society (set in 12th-15th centuary), slightly inspired by RKC and Warwickshire Challenge, where they mostly marry for reproduction, money or power depending on their role in the society as a custom. I play with ACR2 and find sims with high LTR/STR scores tends to get along sexually very well anyways, regardless of chemistry, but probably not so well if you had a sim with less than 50 LTR propose. This thread is mainly about sims who YOU choose the marriage for, like match making (and without altering their chemistry), not letting them tie the knot themself, hence added "arranged" in the brackets.
